I love the Tocco Magico hair color line and their eco-certified products - ammonia-free, composed of vegetal extracts and antioxidant properties.

Ever since we discovered the cancer-causing ingredients in hair color lines and beauty products, it has been important to us that our clients' hair care and beauty needs include only products that nourish and restore hair.  No toxic goop on your head here.

Organic Color System is also a favorite in our salon.  I recently attended a  color class in Boston, one of my favorite cities, and received my certification as Master Colorist. The latest fashion trends and hot hair color secrets keep us inspired at Jade, and, of course, being a natural salon helps keep you at your best - mind, body and spirit.

Yes, Jade Organic Salon is open!!  Yea!!!!  I want to thank everyone who was part of getting us to this point – friends, relatives and tradespeople.  You know who you are.  I especially want to thank my husband Ric who stepped in to do the renovation work.  And, a special thank you to our son Ricky and Ric’s brother Gil who spent many, many hours at work with Ric evenings and weekends. 

There was a lot to do.  Walls to take down, walls to put up, replacing the flooring, patching, spackling, painting, electrical work, plumbing, installing cabinets and shelving. 

Finally the day came when we were ready for our inspection by the Ambler Code Enforcer.  We passed!!!! And the most amazing thing was that as he walked out the door after telling us we could now be open for business, the phone rang.  It was someone wanting to make an appointment for a cut – a new client. 

We are on our way!!!!

Beauty has a new home in Ambler!

Great news!  Jade Organic Salon is now open!  I'm so excited to show everyone my expanded line of organic hair color products - no harmful fumes, no respiratory irritants, no burning scalp.

Hair Will Always Remain The Same Texture - False.

Cutting Hair Makes It Grow Faster and/or Thicker -

False. Shorter hair often looks and feels thicker but cutting your hair won’t alter its normal biologically determined growth rate or overall texture. 

Thin, limp or fine hair will not ever grow thicker in response to a haircut.
